Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 bmw m6. The contact stated that the convertible top, rear window, and trunk stopped working properly. The vehicle was taken to passport bmw (4730 auth pl, suitland-silver hill, md 20746, (301) 423-2700) where it was diagnosed that the hydraulic pump failed; however, the trunk still would not open and the rear window would not completely close. The contact bought the vehicle on july 6, 2019 and the warranty did not cover the electrical system. The manufacturer stated that there were no recalls on the vehicle and promised a call back. The dealer offered to repair the vehicle for a reduced fee of $2,000 instead of the full $4,836. The failure mileage was 66,600. |
