Description of the problem | On two separate occasions all four vehicle brakes locked up while the vehicle was in motion. The first time was in a neighborhood and the vehicle was coming to a stop at a stop sign when the rear brakes locked and would not release. The vehicle was shut down for an extended period and then was able to be moved a short period. The brakes unlocked after sitting overnight. The local dealership serviced the vehicle and said the brake system was out of calibration. Two days later all four brakes locked while driving down a industrial area street. The vehicle was able to be forcibly moved off the roadway where it sat from two hours awaiting a tow. An abs system malfunction was blamed for this failure and resulted in a very costly repair, not covered by the manufacturer. |
