Description of the problem | As far as i can determine there is no recall concerning tires on 2018 encores. Yet at only 19,334 miles on my encore i had to replace a tire because the tire store could not get the tire repaired. Their comment was that the puncture on the tread area was too large to accept a patch. Thus i spent $172. 25 for an equivalent new tire. If buick is not capable of providing tires that will last past 19,000 miles then they need to do a quality check. The "factory" tire i had to replace was a continental tire (p215/ 55r/ 18 rated at 94h. |
