Description of the problem | Two bolts on the left exhaust manifold failed (broke)allowing exhaust to leak into the passenger compartment. Exact date of and milage of bolts breaking is not known. I did not notice it until the exhaust started leaking and making noise. The dealer wanted $800. 00 to fix the problem. I believe the bolts are defective and should be replaced at gm's cost not mine. Exhaust bolts should not break, they were not touched or worked on by anyone, they just broke. Must be defective or torked too tight at factory. |
