Description of the problem | When releasing the cruise control level the vehicle will pick up more speed, consumer is unable to stop the vehicle either by turning the cruise control off or tapping the brakes. The vehicle keeps going at a high rate of speed. Consumer is forced to overcome the speed, by using the brakes. Dealer determined that the problem was caused by worn gears in the cruise control module, module was replaced at no cost. *ak *ml |
