Description of the problem | On two occasions vehicle experienced erratic operation of the abs braking system. On one occasion consumer had to apply brake pedal hard to get the vehicle to stop properly taken to dealer, and code was reset on abs ebcm. On the second occasion, vehicle experienced extended stopping distance. Taken to dealer and determined that ebcm needs to be replaced. Pavement was wet on both occasions. Also, intermittently vehicle would jerk while stopping, and abs sensor light came on. Seeking help from nhtsa in this matter. *ml |
