Description of the problem | While driving at 45 mph, let up off gas and car started knocking. Then, consumer applied brakes and they did not work. Took vehicle to dealer. Mechanic said egr valve was carboned up/ got stuck openly/ lost manifold pressure, and that what caused brakes to fail. Mechanic replaced egr vavle, and then the knocking started.*ak |
