Description of the problem | The crash was recent (01/2000), but there have been many close calls. All were unnecessary as the anti-lock brakes on this vehicle have been on recall since july 1999, last year. We contacted the dealer and he said recalls are a process that takes time and to be patient. That was before the accident. The brakes on this blazer, when the pedal is shoved with all your strength will just slow down slowly. We have been very fortunate not to have been injured in this vehicle and gm knows it. I honestly believe that they are hoping people get rid of them so they cqan avoid the repairs, but ours was purchased new by my brotherts with every option and has been excellently cared for. It is in great shape except for the "deathtrap" brakes. (unsellable cond.) help!! *ak |
