Description of the problem | Brake pedal went to the floor during a track day. The camaro was a 1le track package and gm sells it with a warranty for track as well as instructions for changes to things including moving to a dot 4 brake fluid. I had done that. I have video of the accident. I also have found it's happened to others as well, perfect brakes one corner, none the next. And i have video from in car from that person as well. Car turned right upon second application of the brakes, slide sideways into another car, then rolled. I have video, and pictures of the aftermath. Lf wheel was ripped off the car, tearing the brake line away and losing all the fluid after the fact. Car had 1680 miles on it about 20 minutes before when i had looked at the odometer. After accident the power was cut and could not see any of that. |
