Description of the problem | Low to moderate speed gear shift hesitation, transmission not smoothly shifting,. Feels like a bad miss. Electronics and transmission/engine not in synch or synching. Hesitation, lack of responsiveness can be sever at times. Reboot of ecm helped, but issue has returned worse than ever. This has been a problem since day one of ownership. Hill decent control activates at al speeds including high end hiway speeds. 40, 50, 60, 70+ mph engagement - tap the brake and it actives. Engine rpm's go through the roof. Disabling the control wit the button does not deactivate. Dealership has not and does not offer any solution. Sever loss of control of vehicle could occur in inclement weather or other conditions. Also, fast slow down with no warning to other drivers in the vicinity. Engine rpm's as high as 5k in my truck in mountainous pennsylvania december 2016. |
