Description of the problem | The truck when slowing down to around 20mph and accelerating seems to lag or for lack of a better description seems to be "unable" to find the correct gear. Sometimes it acts as if the engine has a "miss". I took it to the dealer and was told this is "normal operation". When you google this complaint there is page after page of owners having the same problems with 2015 and 2016. It seems to me this is a programming issue with the transmission. It seems to have trouble finding the correct gear and will sometimes jerk or downshift too low. It happens at any time the vehicle slows down to around 20 and accelerates. It also happens at times when at a full stop and taking off in a normal manner. |
