Description of the problem | When going down hill the transmission downshifts hard and jerks you forward. You cannot accelerate again until it hits 10mph then it is hard to get the acceleration going again. This could cause an accident if someone is close behind you especially a big truck that cannot stop quickly. When you are accelerating on a hill it does not want to go and you have push the accelerator down the entire way and then jerks forward and takes off. This happens all of the time going downhill and up hills. I have 24,000 miles on my truck now and it has happened since i purchased the truck. |
