Description of the problem | Vehicle has built in feature of hill assist that is overriding driver. Decides to stop or speed up on hills at will and lags and won't register what the driver is doing for quite some time. Hills are very dangerous with this vehicle and gm refuses to address the issue and debug the software to fix it. There are hundreds of complaints and still nothing. It's has created an issue to where i couldn't stop on multiple occasions, and luckily i was able to avoid and vehicles and pull off the road after placing the vehicle in neutral. The only way to override the feature is when you are in cruise control. I have had to shut the vehicle off to gets the engine to stop revving forward and have taken it to dealer multiple times. It is not safe for me or anyone near the truck. |
