Description of the problem | After replacing transmission fluid per tsb 19417577 truck occasionally does not come out of gear when slowing down to a point where engine goes under 500 rpm where gas is applied to keep from stalling. This surge while braking under 10 mph then requires hard press on brake which does seem to drop transmission out of gear with hard clunk. Stopped just inches short at light from car in front of me stopped at light. Dealer can not immediately reproduce with short test drive, and will not even attempt to troubleshoot. Been told to bring back when it happens more often. |
