Description of the problem | 2nd gas leak to 2016 z51 corvette with 1800 miles. Dealer replace gas tank because of a gas leak. The odometer registered about 1300 miles. About 500 miles later (1,800 miles on the odometer) the car once again experienced a gas leak at the tank. This is a dangerous situation since the gas could leak upon the hot tailpipe or muffler. Replacing the gas tank is a major endeavor requiring the complete disassemble of the rear drivetrain. |
