Description of the problem	We were driving home on a highway at dark when we hit a black angus bull which was approximately 1000 pounds. Immediately after we hit it, it rolled up onto the passenger side and crashed thru the windshield injuring myself (the passenger in the front). My husband was driving and we also had two passengers in the back of the car but they were not injured. I had multiple facial injuries and glass chard injures and was taken by ambulance to a hospital where i was inpatient for 10 days, 5 of those in intensive care. The most severe of my injuries were fracture of my orbital floor, fracture of my nasal bone, fracture of my malar and maxillary bones, open wound to my lip and multiple bruises and cuts. All four of us were wearing our seat belts and out of 10 airbags that the car had, not one went off. The front end of the car was severely damaged and we lost power to the car as soon as we hit the cow (no flashers, lights, etc) our car was totaled and we now have multiple medical bills to account for. Our concern was that we bought the car new and it was advertised as having ten airbags for safety. After hitting a 1000 pound bull at 60 mph, why did not one air bag go off?
