Description of the problem | While driving on the interstate on a cold, winter day, my car started smoking and making a loud tapping sound. After pulling off of the highway, it was discovered that oil had splattered under and on all sides of my car. The rear seal in the motor broke resulting in me having to pay > $5k to have fixed because my car was not on the list of vehicles covered in a previous recall. |
