Description of the problem | While driving and went to accelerate and engine shutdown. Mechanic listened to car, and could not hear fuel pump turning on. Then, said that fuel pump had broken. Mechanic drained fuel out, and noticed that electrical harness that was plugged into fuel pump shorted out, and caused it to melt. Mechanic insisted that plug was never connected completely by manufacturer. Consumer said when there would be a short and gas low enough, it could explode.*ak |
