Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 chevrolet malibu. When the contact attempted to shift from park into drive while on an incline, the vehicle failed to accelerate. Bob bell chevrolet (1 kane st, baltimore, md 21224, (443) 407-1778) inspected the vehicle, but was unable to replicate and diagnose the failure. The contact stated that the vehicle shut off intermittently and there was a progressing false start failure. The vehicle was taken to cox chevrolet (2900 cortez rd w, bradenton, fl 34207, (941) 749-2699) to be diagnosed, but the cause of the failure was not determined. The vehicle was not being driven frequently due to the risk of the gear not shifting and the vehicle intermittently stalling. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was not available. |
