Description of the problem | "takata recall" i have been trying to get the airbag in my vehicle replaced since the recall notice. However, gm is unable or unwilling to replace the airbags. I have read docket #nhtsa-2016-0124. I have also received notification that takata is filing for bankruptcy. As the consumer, i am caught between these legal battles. Meanwhile, we are unable to use the front passenger seat of our vehicle for fear the airbag, which the government requires us to have, will explode and injure/kill the passenger. I demand someone replace or remove the takata airbag from my vehicle immediately, so i can regain the full use of my vehicle. I will be writing my representative, senator and president regarding this issue also. This has gone on too long. The citizens of the united states deserve resolution to faulty, unsafe equipment without delay. |
