Description of the problem	Started my vehicle to move it in the driveway this past saturday and before i was able to shift into gear the driver and passenger airbags deployed without warning. No collision, etc. The vehicle wasn't even out of park yet. Sounded like a shotgun went off in the cab of the truck. Luckily i was not leaned forward attempting to shift gears or i would have caught the full force of the deployment to my face. Took quite a hit to the chest and stomach area. Extremely fortunate this happened in the driveway and not while driving at highway speeds in traffic. Upon research found a pending recall which hasn't been resolved yet by nhtsa. This issue is real and extremely dangerous. I could have been seriously injured or injured others if this happened while driving. I am now stuck with 2 deployed airbags and if i wish to repair several thousands of dollars to fix problem. Gm needs to make this right and repair. If the manufacturer takata has identified a problem with the air bag deployment system provided and utilized by gm this should be repaired by gm.
