Description of the problem | Since august i have noticed approximately 5-6 incidences when there was a brief failure in the ignition of the truck causing me to have to turn the ignition key a second time. It has started correctly on the 2nd try, so far. However, each time this has happened, i've noticed that the clock went back to default. This does not happen every time nor does there appear to be a pattern for when it happens such as driving a short distance, a long distance or the first start up of the day, etc. I'm not getting any malfunction warnings. The vehicle is up to date on inspections and maintenance. The battery was replaced about a year ago. The vehicle is equipped with an after factory electric brake unit. I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle. To my knowledge, it has not been in any accidents nor has it had any other malfunctions. |
