Description of the problem | Approximately 2000-4000 miles after the warranty term (but still well under the 36 month limit) i began to notice my power locks weren't working correctly. When i took my truck in to the dealer, the service rep told me that that was a very common problem. After determining i was over warranty mileage limit, he said all he could do is maybe "help me out" on the repair costs. My main concern is how the manufacturer hasn't been more proactive in correcting this problem since, from what my research has revealed, it is a very common issue. I would think that chevrolet would be a little more concerned about the safety and security of their customers and vehicles. *tt |
