Description of the problem | My father experienced a problem with his 2008 chevy silverado, he had the same switch problem that other chevy vehicles have been recalled for. Having the truck checked out by a gmc dealer he was told he would have to pay to have it corrected as it was no longer under warranty. They told him to use only the key and be sure nothing else is attached to the key. That is exactly what the recall stated about the other vehicles that are on the recall list. His problem is the same as those vehicles. So why no recall on his vehicle? |
