Description of the problem | Warped front rotors both wheels. While driving going down a hill, the steering wheel would start shaking. I am a retired master mechanic with over 30 years experience specializing in brakes. I took my vehicle to the dealer 4 times with this complaint. The dealer could not duplicate the complaint because of not test driving down a hill. Test drive was on a flat surface. Problem only occurs while driving down a hill. I was worried about safety after so many service visits, i finally called general motors in detroit to file a complaint. General motors replaced the rotors as a goodwill gesture. The problem has not re-occurred after rotor replacement. |
