 Description of the problemTl* the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet silverado 1500. While driving various speeds, the accelerator pedal depressed to the floor automatically without warning. In order for the vehicle to be stopped, the contact had to switch the vehicle to the off position, shifting the transmission into neutral, and applying brakes, then power steering was lost, gas pedal should return to idle position, and restart the vehicle which should be back to normal. It was then taken to a dealer; however, the failure was not able to be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
