Description of the problem | I was entering a structure parking at low speed when i needed to stop to give the right of way for cross traffic , at this time i proceeded to put my foot on the brake and the brake would not allow me to stop. (the brake pedal became stiff and it would not allow me to press it down). Luckily i did not strike the vehicle crossing and at this point i was using my emergency brake. I further realized my truck was no longer stopping on demand, but more of rolling to a stop. I contacted a local dealer and they said they couldn't help me because they were busy which i think is unaccepatable i would have to wait over a week to take my truck in for this service. Brake failure should be a priority for any automotive dealer. My truck has about 33500 miles and i have maintained and serviced it properly. |
