Description of the problem | Weird brake and steering feel while driving. Speed did not exceed 35 mph in neighborhood driving. Dic read: brake system failure max speed 62 mph service esc trailer brake system failure. Brake pedal was hard to push and unresponsive at times. Felt like we were dragging the back end at times. Steering was inconsistent. Parking brake was off. Stopped and started 3 times, reset the vehicle a few times. Prior to a big downhill, the last restart cleared the issue and the brake pedal went to the floor. Drove home and parked. To be honest, felt unsafe to drive especially with my son and wife in the car. Luckily we only had a short 3 miles home. Check engine light on onstar report received in email |
