Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2019 chevrolet silverado 1500. When the gear was shifted into reverse and then shifted back into drive, the vehicle jerked and lunged forward. On one occasion, the contact nearly struck a pedestrian. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer for diagnostic testing. The dealer test drove the vehicle and was able to recreate the failure; however, the dealer was unable to receive a failure code. The contact also stated that the dealer test drove another 2019 chevrolet silverado 1500 and was able to recreate the shift failure. The manufacturer was contacted and provided case number: 9-548-7097056. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 1,200. |
