Description of the problem | 06/26/2020 i was involved in an accident where my brakes failed. I have had all previous recalls, and one of the recalls made the brake failure worse than the origional brake recalls. I was following at a safe distance when the car if ft of mr stopped quickly. I applied hard brake pressure(easily enough pressure to properly stop) but pressing hard the truck slowed down but at full hard push brake pedal my truck a chevy silverado 2020 just wouldnt stop correctly. There is a current recall for this issue i'm finding out now that it has happened to me. My truck has been taken into shop but i need to know my options and where to go from here. I've advised my insurance co of this recall defect and have contacted my attorney to seek damages. |
