Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chevrolet suburban. While the contact was making a left turn, the steering lost power and then returned momentarily. The failure recurred and the vehicle shut off. The contact stated that an unknown stability indicator illuminated and the vehicle made a whistling noise. The vehicle restarted and was taken to the chuck fairbanks chevrolet (972-408-1571, located at 629 n i 35 e, desoto, tx 75115) where it was stated that there was no recall. The contact was informed to bring the vehicle back if the whistling noise recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 138,000. *dt consumer stated when making a turn steering wheel snaps back usually 2-3 times a day. *jb |
