Description of the problem | This is the 4th time my suburban has been in the shop. It has a cracking pop while turning the steering wheel. While the chevrolet dealer is pleased to fix it, it keeps happening again within 2 or 3 days of short distance driving. On some of the online forums, some dealers replaced the steering rack column. Some dealers do the alignment and the problem tends to reoccur. |
