Description of the problem | Since may the brakes have not worked intermittently and to stop the car i had to press down as hard as possible. Early on i had the fluid levels and brake pads and rotors checked and was told they were fine so i was not sure of the problem until i saw a bulletin from your office. I then took it to the dealer who diagnosed it as low output from the vacuum pump. It cost nearly $700 to replace and in my opinion should be put on recall as it is very dangerous to have the brakes fail intermittently. I almost had a number of accidents due to this issue and had to have my vehicle pulled from the water when launching my boat. |
