Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chevrolet tahoe. The contact stated that the brakes failed while pulling into a parking lot. The vehicle would not stop and the brake pedal nearly went to the floorboard before the vehicle finally stopped. The brake warning indicator was illuminated. The contact called neilson chevrolet (1 us-46, dover, nj 07801, (973) 366-1243) and was informed that diagnostic testing was needed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired; however, the dealer stated that a brake vacuum was needed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The failure mileage was 81,000. |
