Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chevrolet tahoe. The contact received a recall notice for nhtsa campaign number: 19v645000 (service brakes, hydraulic). While driving various speeds, the brakes grabbed when the brake pedal was being depressed. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to boulevard buick (2800 cherry ave, signal hill, ca 90755, (562) 492-1000) where it was diagnosed that the brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced and a wheel balance was needed. The dealer also stated that the vehicle was working as designed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 89,917. |
