Description of the problem | I initially noticed difficulty with braking while backing out of a parking space at a very low rate of speed. The brake pedal became hard and the vehicle continued to roll backward, with full weight on the brake pedal. Approximately one month later i was in bumper-to-bumper, stop-and-go traffic and the brake pedal again hard and the vehicle continued to roll forward. This issue did not occur during normal driving conditions, only at low rates of speed and with frequent, repetive stopping. I took the vehicle to a local chevrolet service department and they were unable to replicate the issue or identify the problem with diagnostic equipment.
