Description of the problem | I own a 2012 chevrolet traverse, with just over 41,000 miles. Yesterday, when i started the vehicle, for no apparent reason, the traction control / stabilitrak, and check engine light came on. Prior to that i had no issues, the vehicle was running fine. I have kept it well maintained and clean, and drive at the speed limit, on good roads. I researched the issue online, and it appears to be a common problem with this model vehicle. There are no recall notices, which seems unusual for the number of issues. The traverse is a nice vehicle, but i have been in 3 times for manufacturer recalls regarding other issues. Gm should have a recall for this issue, given that it affects what appears to be many model years of this vehicle and others. |
