Description of the problem | Tl* the contact's husband owns a 2012 chevrolet traverse. While driving 25 mph, the check engine warning indicator illuminated and the vehicle lost power. The contact managed to veer to the shoulder of the road and placed the gear in neutral. The vehicle would not restart. The insurance company towed the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the timing belt was fractured and needed to be replaced.
