Description of the problem | The catalytic converter failed at 88,000 miles causing the check engine light to come on. This is no longer covered under warranty after 80,000 miles. Will not pass inspection until replaced, but there is a natiionwide backorder on this part. Is this a known issue that they aren't telling the car owners about? Car does not run as efficiently, consumes more fuel than promised. |
