Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2013 chrysler 200. The contact stated that nhtsa campaign number: 16v668000 (air bags, seat belts) exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the repair. The contact received the recall notification in october of 2016. The dealer (lake elsinore chrysler dodge jeep ram, 31400 auto center dr, lake elsinore, ca 92530) stated that the parts were unavailable for the repair. The manufacturer was also contacted and confirmed that the parts were unavailable. The contact was informed that the parts should have been available the first quarter of 2017, but then stated that the date was extended. There was no guarantee for when the parts would be made available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available. |
