Description of the problem | Adjusted the electrical mirror then shortly after adjustment smoke started to roll out from under the buttons of the window controllers and melted them slightly (driver and passenger front window buttons) the vehicle was in motion and then stationary due to we had to exit the vehicle due to be overcome with smoke. We were turning off a highway to a residential street. We then was able to get back into the car when there was little smoke and continue 1/2 mile to the home were staying at. Window's will not roll up or down now. Due to the smoke, i am afraid to drive my vehicle back to michigan from wisconsin in a week. Also, the front passenger seat belt does not lock onto the restraint lock. Why did it not blow a fuse before it started smoking? |
