Description of the problem | Airbag light comes on intermittently. Dealer says that when the light is on, the airbags will not deploy. Dealer says that chrysler is aware of the problem and that fixing it would cost $2,900, but that chrysler also can do and "overlay" (i don't know what that is) for $165 per seat that might make the problem go away, but the only guaranteed fix is the $2,900 option. Obviously the $2,900 option is cost prohibitive so after we went with the $165 option, the problem still remains. |
