Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chrysler 200. The contact received a recall notice for nhtsa campaign number: 15v470000 (electrical system); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. While driving approximately 40 mph, the vehicle shifted into neutral. The contact pulled the vehicle over to the shoulder and placed the vehicle in park. The contact placed the vehicle in drive and continued to her residence with no issues. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The failure was unable to be duplicated, but the software was updated. The failure recurred intermittently. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000. |
