Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chrysler 200. While driving approximately 40-50 mph, the service transmission, service engine, and service parking brake warning indicators illuminated. The steering wheel became difficult to turn. In addition, the transmission shifted from automatic to auto/manual mode. The vehicle was turned off and restarted; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where diagnostic trouble codes: u0428 (invalid date received from steering) and u1408 (impulsive speed signal received, output shift data received) were located. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 15v470000 (electrical system). The manufacturer was informed of the failure.
