Description of the problem | Within 10 minutes of leaving my house the dash lights started flashing saying "engine temp high" and then "service electronic throttle control" but the bars that light up to show the engine temp were gone. Before the warnings came on the car showed 2 bars in the temp panel (fully heated up is normally 4 bars). I pulled over and shut the car off for 15 minutes and nothing came on when i started it. The engine light came on a few days ago and when it was read on the computer it said something about the temperature. I've checked online forums and found at least 30 other cars, same year make and model, having the same problem. |
