Description of the problem | The car has shuts off while driving. I bought the car used last year in march 2018. It had issues w/jerking between gears and "hopping", but several months ago, just shut off while driving 75 mph on a highway (twice in 15 mins). Dealership attempted to fix. But, its back to same problem. It shut off tuesday while out of town at a hotel while pulling out onto a 5 lane road. Supposedly fixed, and then shut off on interstate 695 around baltimore last night while two lanes of traffic over. Shutting off with -0- warning while traveling on busy interstates is extremely dangerous and possible life threatening. Per research, this seems to be a major issue for this car, not sure why nhtsa has not recalled it yet. |
