Description of the problem	As i was driving home on the highway the check transmission light came on, i turned into a gas station and attempted to put the car in park and was unable too. A notification popped up stating the car was not in park and to apply parking brake to prevent car from rolling. I then put the car back in d but was unable to move, i then placed the car in r but also was not able to move. After attempting to put the car in park again with no success, i tried to turn the car off, this also was unsuccessful. The car would only go to acc, i was forced to leave the car in this mode until it cut off on its own. I returned to the car the next day and was able to start it, upon starting the car was in p and allowed me to go d and move the vehicle. Within 10 feet of driving on the street, the check transmission light reappeared, i then pulled into a parking space on the street and turned the vehicle off. This has been happened in this car at least 7 times and i have been back to the dealership i purchased the car from at least 5 times. Every time it was either a simple fix or they could not find anything wrong. I am now out of my warranty and may be forced to pay for a transmission to be fixed. I am risking the life of my 4 year old child every day i use this car. There is a recall for this exact issue but somehow my car was not included.
