Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chrysler 200. While driving approximately 75 mph, all the instrument panel warning indicators illuminated and flashed. In addition, the accelerator pedal seized. The contact coasted the vehicle to the shoulder. The vehicle was turned off manually by depressing the start button. The vehicle was restarted and driven home. The dealer stated that the module transmission control and module power train failed. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired back in 2014 and 2015 for the same failure. The contact received a recall notification for nhtsa campaign number: 16v529000 (power train). The parts were not available to perform the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 49,000. |
