Description of the problem	This issue relates to the "s55" recall dealing with crimps in the wire harness of the car. As i was driving my car suddenly lost motive power causing me to roll to a sudden stop in the middle of the road. The dashboard told me to enable the emergency brake to prevent rolling. After enabling the e-brake and shifting into park i attempted to shift out of park and was unable to. Turning the car off and on did not resolve this issue. I needed to call for a tow truck and had the car towed to the nearest chrysler dealership. After three days of my car sitting at the dealership and calling every day i finally got told that this recall issue has no solution at this time. And even better the service manager told me they ordered a new wire harness for the car, but this new wire harness is also affected by this recall defect. This is my only means of transportation and now i will get the car back after nearly a week and it is not even safe to drive. If this problem had occurred on the highway i could have died! On top of all of this after calling the chrysler help line printed on the recall notice (which i received the same day that this problem happened to me) they told me that chrysler will not provide me with any sort of a rental or loaner vehicle. So if i do not want to drive around in a car that could potentially get me killed i must pay out of pocket for a rental vehicle for an unknown amount of time as chrysler has no idea when a permanent solution for this issue will be available.
