Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chrysler 200. The contract received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v529000 (power train); however, the part for the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. While driving various speeds, the vehicle jerked back and forth which, at times, caused the vehicle to stall. The vehicle had to be turned off from 15 to 20 minutes before being able to be restarted and function correctly. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer a total of nine times for the transmission failure. The transmission was replaced, but the failure recurred. The approximate failure mileage was 14,000. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available. |
